it does?? that sounds insane lmao. there's some decent plugins I've been experimenting with to give blender layers and brushes but,,, I find myself defaulting back to not using them because of how buggy they can be. such a shame. they gotta rework that AND particle systems real bad

that's what I figured the process would be like, too bad there's no way to do it live! but like hell am I buying a sub for substance painter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really need to do this more, I get really caught up in trying to do everything within blender so I tend to hand-paint with just the default brushes and no layers. the extra steps involved with figuring out if the painted texture will look good in 3D while painting 2D has stopped me from trying

I'd love to know more about your texturing process, the grungey nature of it is so good. clearly very skilled work
