for me at least i usually share music with a yt link just because its the most accessible format. a spotify / some other platform specific link requires either installing the app or a subscription to hear the full thing

also do yall have any other independent jetstream instances that i can add to this tool? preferably the jetstream should be ingesting from an independent relay

5 hrs ago this acc was working fine but it never hit the microcosm relays. but now, now that the 2 broken accs are working, this (already working) acc is now returned by the microcosm jetstreams

maybe the fact that this acc is now properly indexed by the microcosm relays is a hint? idk

Could probably make a generic service thatll proxy feeds for you across apps. Let users log in with both the source and target accs, pick the feed from the source acc to forward, and then get a private feed on your target acc that mirrors what the source acc would see in that feed

Thanks for the offer, i think ill try to fix this first though. Also i think its not just the bsky appview, i recently found out that all relays that ive checked on eventually stopped relaying both accs, so i dont think its an appview problem

I think ill make a custom feed just for me thatll make the following feed from @whey.party and @dw.whey.party visible to me on this acc. I already got Fresh feeds so it shouldnt be that hard to make two new variants

i might try to go into this a bit deeper later today. maybe ill set up a relay thatll only listen to my own PDS and wait for the exact moment it gives up on those two accs and check the logs

when i migrated:
1. jetstream.fire.hose.cam never saw the new accs on the new pds
2. jetstream1.us-east.bsky.network saw and relayed info from the new accs for a while then stopped relaying
3. jetstream.whey.party was made after i moved the accs, then stopped relaying

the issue might be on my end, something is definitely wrong with those two accounts.

does sending a takedown to the old accounts on the old pds help with this at all? both of them are already deactivated which is enough right?

I didnt make any starter packs on @whey.party so im only able to use the one on @dw.whey.party to bootstrap this account

I actually can still use my main accs just fine, i can still scroll feeds which means auth service proxy still works, so its just the firehose thats broken. But yesterday, the issue was pds wide, which makes sense. Yet this time its those two accs

In the mean time, this is a good reminder to decentralize your apps and use more independent relays! Use mine relay.whey.party, use microcosm's, use blacksky's
