Having tried pole all of twice I feel like it’s somehow similar and different at once… like fundamentals such as inverts and knee hooks are similar but of course one is a pole and the other is fabric? lol pole is so much harder IMO… I need fluffy fabric to lie around in 😁
I’ve got the sequel outlined and everything — it’s been outlined since… oh heck, I don’t remember.
Lemme start by rereading this thing to see if I even remember what it’s about…
They say being a writer means giving yourself homework for the rest of your life…
So here I am, thinking about completing an assignment I first set for myself in 2014… or was it 2013? Anyway, I finally published Windborn in 2020 and I’ve been meaning to get back to that world ever since.
Normally I’d be writing a triumphant “OMG it’s finished” post upon completing a short story but this one is so late it’s more like “ugh, finally!” Still, writing 2 9k-10k word short stories in 1 month ain’t bad… and now I’m deadline free!
Out of sorts because I was gonna work on one short story but turns out I don’t have what I need for that, so I should just work on a different project… but my creative brain was still in the first one and I can’t seem to make it switch 😫
