Onto announcements:
• 'Adventurer's Chronicle' exhibition in Tokyo/Osaka.
• New collaboration merchandise with various creators.
• The Primals @ Download Festival in the UK in June.
• The Primals Dark Decades Budokai Blu-ray out Mar/Apr.
• New T-shirt designs from Lit Baff out this year.

Yoshida notes that the the overall dye system hasn't changed much since A Realm Reborn and goes on to comment that he feels that many systems in Final Fantasy XIV are in need of a review. More information will come at FanFest.

When using one of the new dyes, you will be able to select which of the included colors to apply. The number of available colors will remain the same. The dyes being consolidated into the new base dyes will no longer obtainable.

Dyes currently in your possession will no longer be functional. After the patch goes live, they can be exchanged for the new consolidated dyes by speaking with a Calamity salvager.

The armoire will be updated to include: all job-specific (artifact) gear and all gear from dungeons introduced in 7.x patches. They are also going to gradually roll out the ability to store gear from earlier dungeons and the ability as well as store them as outfit glamour.

New interior fixture designs will be implemented.

Regarding player housing, there will be increased placement limits for indoor and outdoor items. The new limits can be consulted in the chart pictured.

The Beastmaster will weaken bests in the wild before attempting to capture them and "up to 50 types of beasts can be tamed". Capturing beasts will complete your "Master's Bestiary". All beasts can be captured through solo play & you can call upon them to walk beside you.

A new limited job will be added: Beastmaster.

Final Fantasy XIV Patch 7.5 "Trail to the Heavens" revealed. As usual, the .5 Patch will be split into two major parts. This time, however, there will be more time between the two major parts. "There is a big reason for this but we can't share."

Part 1: April 28, 2026
Part 2: Early September 2026

From the test broadcast: dir./prod. Naoki Yoshida says they are experimenting with a way to make figures of player characters by submitting screenshots. They've tried to deploy something like this in the past but the quality wasn't what they wanted. Formal announcement planned for FanFest.
