This is the Sentinel Building, also known as the Columbus Tower, a 1907 Beaux-Arts–style building in San Francisco’s North Beach neighborhood.

Notable for its copper-clad turret & for surviving the aftermath of the 1906 earthquake & fire.

I like it.

I’m spending a little time in the Bay Area, California. I love walking to explore & around here, the steep hills lead to sweeping & beautiful views. This is on the way to Coit Tower.

I like reading this, Heather. Today was mostly city for me. Glad to experience it all.

Oh, this is interesting. I was in Death Valley National Park very briefly, decades ago. I like knowing this background about the photo.

I like this scene and the boldness of the colors and contrast.

There's nobody quite like you. You know that.

But also, you change in every moment. Each time you open up to a new experience, or a new person, it's like walking through a symbolic door that never reappears. It's one-of-a-kind & then changes forever.

I believe in getting uncomfortable & pushing to do new things but not always.

Seems good to observe where there’s a bottleneck, where inspiration is lost. Then go where it flows instead.
