Weird but true: Shortly before the ICE surge, MPD added policy language about federal immigration enforcement to include a "duty to intervene and duty to report." But somehow we got through the last several months and MPD never intervened, never forwarded any cases to the county attorney's office.

Well for starters the police union could publicly endorse the gun reforms that Minnesota Republicans are trying to block. That could help prevent some PTSD.
