I have the weed-whacker / edge trimmer. Love it. Also the electric mower — better than my old gas mower. The blower, however, is a disappointment. Doesn’t last long and doesn’t have the same power as my old blower.

It’s been over 35 years, but my wife made that sound when she saw the doctor’s face as he was coming down the hall to let us know our daughter didn’t make it. There is no other sound like it. And all these years later, that sound is still in my head.

Well, my son applied to two schools for his undergraduate studies. He got accepted into the BFA program for one, and the MFA program for the other. Not one of the expected outcomes.

My wife is running for town council, so I was out canvassing — in a townhouse development where every entrance was above the garage. Every visit required walking up a flight of stairs. So basically I climbed to the top of the Chrysler building today. And back down.
