Well, gas is expensive, and food is expensive, and weβre doing a war nobody wants, but at least there are no jobs
You know. Maybe 2027 will be our year
Gotta give your grant back to NASA for being too cool
If you post on bsky on your work computer you have to shoot the computer with a gun
A graphic featuring a black ink illustration of a falcon with his wings partly open. Title: βKeep Hope Alive: a Gaza giving circle". Match opportunity! We'll double you for six families and a camp of fifteen more. The media isn't covering ongoing aggression on Gaza, nor looming famine, so it's up to us to remember and act.

"Adeene how is that self-destructive-" I don't have enough money to afford a turntable π
Trying to decide which minorly self-destructive activity to do next, after the very successful Too Much Cereal, followed by Steeping Tea in Red Bull. Maybe I'll get really into vinyl or something
I'm unsure how people really think people were downplaying a virus that can kill you, make you go blind, wipe out your immune system for years, and oh yeah come back and kill you a decade after you thought you'd shaken it.
(I understand why we can't do this, on the off chance we would deflect the asteroid into the Earth instead. That being said... sad)
Too bad we can't do an anti-DART mission to deflect the asteroid into the Moon...
Verdict: This has what I can only describe as a Flavor. I would drink this again, because there's something wrong with me
The next step will be heating the Red Bull, but I need to test cold first. I will be testing both, donβt worry.
Ah, but I do also have to see if I get a wild magic surge
Upon consulting with my tea friends I am cold steeping this for 24 hours and will report back tomorrow morning with my cursed results
NEW βWeβre celebrating a tradition that is at its core about resisting occupation and maintaining community in the face of horrors. You canβt keep politics out of Irish music. No one should try, for two reasons. First, itβs ahistorical. Second, Minnesotans are ready for a big anti-fascist party.β
overleaf comment from the post author that just reads #Itried
Type of comments Iβm leaving in the draft at this point
a lot of you haven't rewatched firefly recently and it shows, in the sense that you probably shouldn't rewatch it ever if you want to keep thinking it was good. it was a mass delusion that i also participated in but in my defense i hadn't started reading feminist blogs yet at the time.
Hope is an action, and I think this project really demonstrates that: mental health activities for Palestinian children who were detained in occupation prisons! This will be a six-day intervention supporting healing, life skills, and more.
Make it happen! chuffed.org/project/hmg
Sending hugs your way π
Now I can start being nervous π¬
I do not know anything about sports but this image has been useful to me many times
This is a great name
Sigh. Next time...
No asteroid impact into the Moon?
You know what. Fuck it. Cold steeping earl grey in Red Bull.
I donβt want to pay for the privilege of an editor telling me Pluto is too boring for Nature... It was tough enough to do that for free
A creepy crab sending laser eyes and exploding another sea crature. The words silence, brand are next to it.
If you get the chance to comment on this too, remember that it is always okay to tell brands that their ideas are bad
Anyway literally the only reason I would support submission fees is if the money went to paying reviewers but we simply cannot have that I suppose! I'm tired. What if scientific publishing wasn't awful and exhausting and literally pricing talented scientists out of high-profile journals.
Look. I'm sure it's hard to get so many submissions to desk reject before sending some out to reviewers. That being said. Nature (and Science) are the ones who have placed themselves in the position of being scientific gatekeepers for a massive community, to the point that we HAVE to submit there.
