I'm glad you're still here and I hope we cross paths again in the future... Maybe I'll have to make it up to a Canadian con if you're going to any?

I feel that furs over forty in the fandom should be respected and admired if only for that fact that we haven't lost all sense of imagination, whimsy and wonder by mid-life, despite everything the world has thrown at us.

I'll let you know in five more years if that's still true at fifty.

I'm dedicated to squirrel photography

After an awful workday, editing a photo like this makes me feel better, for whatever reason. It's like making art. Helps me remember there's things I enjoy as opposed to the 9 hours I spend doing the jobs of three people and getting little thanks for it.

This is the original JPG (the SX720 doesn't shoot RAW) but I can still make it look a whole lot better with a little effort.

The first time I met Snap was in February 2011 when he lived in Omaha. He let me spend the night at his place driving a car back from CO to MN for a friend and took me out to dinner and to the Omaha Zoo.

We also happened to be at Confurgence 2016 together in Melbourne.

He will be missed.

Boss was supposed to buy us breakfast this morning as a performance reward. Then after I get to work (without eating anything) I find three people called in. So. I'm doing the job of everyone today and also no breakfast apparently.
