astrophysics! His sabbatical was at JILA - Joint Institute for Laboratory Astrophysics a Federal project co-managed by UC Boulder.

This is so sad. My family lived in Boulder when I was 6 years old (1979!) when my dad was doing a sabbatical at UC Boulder and he used to take us occasionally to see the Cray supercomputer at NCAR. NCAR was the first paying customer of Cray because they had such intense computational needs!
👋🏾 Share the Cities connected me to all the great people and organizations where I could be most effective with my volunteer time 💛💛💛
Noooo! So very sorry.
I am so deeply sorry. 😢
That’s not Jayapal and Mosqueda 😂🤔
We can’t out raise the billionaires in Medina funding Harrell’s Super PAC, but we do outnumber them. How many people can donate $25 to the progressive PAC fighting back?
I gave $25. Pass it on.

Yes! We’ve taken Amtrak with bikes to Portland, and then crossed the bridge by bike to get to the waterfront trail
Seattleites love their summers, but it’s a little more complicated for parents. What if we had universal summer care for all children in Seattle? This isn’t a pie in the sky idea. We can make Seattle a great place for working families.
Amazon is trying to buy Seattle’s election! Send your Democracy Vouchers or donate money to @wilsonforseattle.bsky.social to help cancel Corporate PAC spending. #ThisIsYourCity WilsonForSeattle.com
Even wealthy tech workers who can afford childcare know how hard this is. Setting the alarm for 6:55AM on some random Monday in February to try and snag a precious slot in a summer camp when registration opens at 7AM 😬
BREAKING: Third place Mayoral candidate Joe Mallahan OFFICIALLY endorses Katie Wilson over incumbent Bruce Harrell, citing an "untenable" culture of misogyny in the current administration

Vote for Katie Wilson- a campaign that embodies real democracy and is powered by working families and everyday Seattleites.
Corporate interests have consistently opposed social housing in Seattle. I not only helped campaign and voted for Prop 1A, but I will continue to fight for the full implementation of social housing in Seattle as a member of the City Council. #GiveAFack
We live a half block from this intersection and our children cross it to take the #7 to music lessons. It’s terrifying not knowing whether they’ll make it safely there and back.
Our campaign is calling on the city to implement *immediate* safety improvements on Rainier. There have been 1,500 injury and fatality crashes on this street over the last decade. This is unacceptable. South Seattle deserves safe streets.
I think The Stranger is confused. Lin voted 1B, so i’m unsure how that earns you the Slut for Progressive Revenue title. Also it’s spelled Fackler.
This one was lazy :/
Just so everyone’s clear on D2 candidate voting records rondezvous.beehiiv.com/p/seattle-d2... @ronpdavis.bsky.social
Stranger appears to claim that D2 candidate Eddie Lin (who they endorsed) voted for 1A to fund social housing payroll tax. However, Lin has admitted that he actually voted for 1B, the Chamber-backed alt that would have undermined social housing.
Incumbent Harrell has spent more time trying to bring the Sonics back than he has trying to bring back families who’ve been displaced by housing costs (which have more than doubled in the 15 years he’s been a politician in city hall).

Seattle District 2 candidates sport some spotty voting records. Should set off alarm bells!
Ducksworth and Chunn want you to show up for their primary, but they don't bother show up for primaries or lots of other elections.

"Restricting our city keeps out our neighbors and clear cuts more trees."
A UW professor recently called Washington State “a tax haven like the Cayman Islands.”
What did he mean?
Let’s get into it!
Is the dream of homeownership dead in Seattle?
