Living in central TX I keep seeing a commercial for a local race where the candidate is running on this specific platform. I was so confused the first time I saw it. Distracting the masses from the fact that all our utility rates have increased in the last year among other more important things?
One of the major reasons I cancelled my Amazon Prime account is that their streaming service is so crappy and they rarely had anything I wanted to watch. BTW I cancelled after seeing one of your posts and a few others. I thought it would be challenging to not have an account, but it’s been fine!

After working in the criminal justice system having to deal with crimes against children, I would argue to not post photos on ANY social media accounts. It’s definitely very challenging to not post when you have a cute baby you want to share with world! Grandparents get REAL mad too 🙄

🚨New pub with PhD student @shallen-a.bsky.social (She’s on the job market!) in PPR exploring SROs’ perceptions of selection for the position. It was suggested that being a parent and effective communicator, some law enforcement experience, and an ability to multitask are helpful characteristics.

I played too. My husband would poke fun at me for obsessing over logs after raid night. He didn’t understand that as a female, I felt like I couldn’t mess up a fight or even be mediocre. It wasn’t fun. I quit when working on dissertation and have never played again.

Wonderful news. Such interesting and impactful articles recently! The editorial team at Police Practice & Research has been wonderful to work with and so understanding and kind when I requested a deadline extension due to having a baby (which was not as common of a response as one would hope😐).
