The default palette is really nice. I am wanting to challenge myself to something desaturated and moodier, inspired by The Last Faith and Blasphemous, but I am struggling to find one or make one myself
Are there any formulas, rules orguidelines you follow to creating your own palette?
Aye, Lospec is great. I've been using palettes from there, usually between 32-64 colours. But struggling to find a palette I really want for this asset pack :/
Pixel artists!
How do you decide on colour palettes?
Do you build them from the ground up?
Use existing from LoSpec, etc?
Building my first tileset asset pack and defining the colours I need is simply overwhelming! Any advice would be appreciated

They had this too. Essentially time your punches with the pads that pop up, each round was a unique boss fight. Then to finish them off, you had to do a certain about of hits in a short amount of time.
Best arcade cabinet ever, it's on my bucket list to own one for my office ๐คฃ

Been working on a dark fantasy tileset for a proof of concept game.
Really fun so far, considering releasing the tileset afterwards too so keep an eye out!

Congrats! Big fan of the design and presentation
Cactus and Juggle are battling for my top spot, both are so good! Would love to see them animated
Unpopular opinion perhaps, but I don't think Bloodborne needs a remake.
The game is still gorgeous and the gameplay is timeless. That being said, I can understand the yearning for a PC port.
P.s. Just defeated Lady Maria, y'all are so down bad... But I totally get it now
The One Piece character popularity poll is up. This will be my first, the last one was 2021! I already voted, who will you vote for? onepiecewt100-2026.com/en/
the anime sfx-making tool! It's called ANIMEVOX, in big letters up top. Then there's the controls: In vertical pairs: Left: Pitch Rise Rise speed Reverb Room size On the right: Wobble Speed Wobble Amount Tone Brightness Volume Next is a row of keys: Randomize - randomizes the sound parameters UNDO/ REDO - go back to parameters you liked Export Wav - self explanatory, it saves a copy of the latest sound to your hard drive. Then the fun buttons, with cute art styles: IMPACT, sparkle, beam, powerUP, PON, BOOM, slash, woosh Each produces a preset sound, which then goes through the fx chain. Hope you enjoy it!
I made a tool that makes retro anime sound effects. Meet AnimeVox!
I made it for a game, but it's free to use.
I'm using the forgotten (but popular in 80s japan) Schroeder reverb algo, and some wobble.
If you find it useful consider supporting me on itch :)

They definitely reward that play style. Have you come across anything particularly cool yet?
I think Rem2 is overall the better game and they clearly had a lot of fun making it, but Rem1 had some moments that just wow'ed me. Truly a special game
Yeah... ๐
I was the same. It's very easy to get lost, since there are so many secrets to be found!
I have! Only did one run through the DLC so I'm sure there is still a lot to uncover, but I spent 150hrs~ in base game and needed a break! I'll come back to it at some point
Gorgeous game. One of the best looking zones in the game too
Are you enjoying it so far?

Now watching:
Pirates of the Caribbean - Dead Man's Chest (2006)
Cainhurst might be my favourite castle in all FromSoftware, the dark but inviting interior coupled with the wintery and harsh exterior is sublime.
Realized I've not touched the Bloodborne DLC yet, so starting that now! Very excited ๐
Gratz! Saw spear is really cool, I was using that too til I found the Kirkhammer ๐ loving the trick weapons though, they're all so stylish
Currently on my first playthrough. Amygdala was definitely a highlight! Incredible game so far
Which weapons are you using? ๐
Trevenant. Because they remind me of the Weirwood trees in Game of Thrones๐
I wrote it off early on, but the more I see of it the more I am intrigued. Though I'm still not sure what the game is ๐คฃ
Aww! They're adorable. The cat I posted has the same name haha, but it's spelt Meme instead
