Text:

Why not?
Because people are fucking idiots, Paul.
They're just... incredibly stupid.

This is Oakley. He has an injury that requires physical therapy and at-home massages. Luckily, his cat sibling River has been training his whole life for this. 14/10 for both

The people of Iran must be scared out of their minds, hearing Donald Trump say *he* will appoint their new leader, only moments before appointing America's Stupidest Senator, Markwayne Mullins, to run Homeland Security.

Pay attention to the verbs. Pay attention to who gets named. Pay attention to who β€œsays” and who β€œdid.”

That’s how perception is shaped - not with blatant lies, but with careful framing.

Wallace Creek (dry in these photos) has been offset by the San Andreas fault. The two ~90Β° turns occur where it crosses the fault. The land on the left has moved over time ~north (direction of view) relative to the land on the right.

Before a month or two ago, I had never heard of maple syrup from big leaf maples (a common native tree in western OR & WA). Here's a really good article in today's Oregon Live about it. www.oregonlive.com/business/202... I need to find a way to try it.

Every conspiracy theorist asserts that scientists are "suppressing things that go against the consensus for the sake of their careers" as if every single incentive in every field of science isn't in favor of trying to disprove the consensus

1/ The first amendment of the Constitution prohibits state-sponsored religion and protects religious freedom. Starting a war to fulfill a biblical prophecy to bring about Armageddon is unconstitutional and puts the American people at serious risk.

Agree. I was an undergrad for 8 years, for a plethora of reasons. I *loved* being a student, and I wished I could just take classes forever. To this day, I joke my biggest life mistake was filing for graduation.
