@txsharon.bsky.social just got back from the EU where she met with EU politicians to educate them on the emissions and economic realities of US LNG.
It got their attention. And current nat gas prices in the EU are likely helping it sink in.
@txsharon
Oil & gas pollution is everywhere but it's invisible like germs. I make it visible. It is causing the climate crisis. I show their dirty secrets and expose their fraud and lies. They sue me to shut me up but I win. 5th gen Texan, hate football.

The Russian LNG tanker has sunk now apparently
I imagine a very large amount of methane is going to be released unfortunately π

They essentially eliminated all requirements to protect groundwater from radioactive waste
Yet again Rep. Al Green understood the assignment.
He was kicked out by the "no safe space" and anti cancel culture crowd.
While we are all told that we MUST USE natural gas to power data centers, Google is building out data centers powered by solar wind and storage.
And if you don't know, the 100 hour battery system supporting this project uses....iron and air to store energy.
Gas is the past.
π£ NEW REPORT π£ Major companies and nonprofits issue millions of co-branded credit cards with the largest U.S. banks. π³
Those partnerships represent enormous market power - and real leverage to demand climate responsibility from the financial sector. π¦

Science journalist Justin Nobel shows the Ohio Senate Agriculture and Natural Resources committee the picocurie radiation measurement of an Ohio DNR gas and oil wastewater brine sample (1,264 pci) and a commercial deicing product (1,663 pci) compared to the federal limit of radiation (60 pci) allowed by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission for a nuclear power plant to release into the environment. Science journalist Justin Nobel spoke up for S.B. 329, which would outlaw gas and oil waste brine-spreading on Ohio roads. bit.ly/46ZErI6

Now I want to look for owls with my $130k camera! I'd much rather look for critters than gas.
Yes, Musk is doing it dirtier and shirking the permitting process.
The jet engine thing is, so far, just a fantasy. It's really out there.
βThe dirty secret needs to be brought into the light.β
I also want to note that I am in touch with the people on the ground and they asked me to wait before I came and recorded the pollution.
Yes, all that video shows is that the turbines are operating. It's a really big story and that's good, but also quite unfortunate that they didn't contact me and get an OGI video that would show the pollution. I would have gone and taken the OGI video and given it to floodlight happily.
Thanks, Ketan. It's a bit unfortunate that floodlight decided to do this using a thermal camera. We would gladly have gone with them and used our OGI camera. All a thermal camera shows is that there is heat. It doesn't show the invisible pollution.
EU Parliament's president @president.europarl.europa.eu sends 1st answer related to our open letter from Jan 29, 2026 (oilchange.org/news/eu-phas...) in which we've asked the EU to resist Trump's fossil-fueled imperialism and to stand in solidarity with Latin America & Greenland! 1/2
I fucking told you so in the very beginning and got brutal replies. Who's making fun of me now?
"Sure, Lee Oldham told me, he had spread radioactive fracking waste on Texas farmland. But in his defense, he never in a million years thought anyone would put a school there."
The oil industry's radioactive secret is getting more attention but the damage has been done.
I'd love to do that!
Thrilled that MethaneHunter aka TX Sharon is joining us in Santa Barbara for screenings of This Is Not a Drill! You gotta see the scary images sheβs captured in the oil fields of Texas and around the world.
Guess where I am. Click the link to see where I'll be next. The list is growing all the time.

Bad Bunny for president
New Mexico snuck in a little bill called SB 136 on Friday. Known as the Unlawful Use Of Unmanned Aircraft bill. Humans canβt see methane, but we can see oil. The industry and the politicians theyβve bought donβt even want you to see that.

I don't even know who's playing in the Super Bowl. And I don't care.
Jeff Bezos just destroyed the climate reporting at one of the biggest papers in the country. Makes you think he doesn't really care about addressing climate change, right?
So what is he getting for his massive donations to many large climate related NGOs?
He knows. Do you?
Highlighting the speaker who stood in front of the Surprise mayor and told him to consider what the Mayor of Ohrdruf mustβve thought before he died by suicide: βHe might have thought βhow is this my fault I had no jurisdiction over thisβ maybe he said βthis site was not subject to local zoning.ββ
A hat that says Oilfield Mafia and a giant gun sculpture
When they tell you who they are, believe them.
The narration explains what's happening. I see flares like this all the time.
Amen!
The quote re βif you zero out methane leaksβ is absurd as this is nowhere near where the industry is.
Also, using solely βleaksβ implies accidental when (a) much is purposefully released and (b) much of the industry does little to address βleakageβ.
