Alex was a kindhearted soul who cared deeply for his family and friends and also the American veterans whom he cared for as an ICU nurse at the Minneapolis VA hospital. The weight of everything going on in this country has really been getting to me lately. Speaking with friends finding out that I am not alone has been slightly helpful but this is stress no one needs or asked for and I really want it to stop. It’s really doing a number on my mental health
