This story is destined to be an episode of “Dateline.” A representative has an affair with a staffer who decides to commit suicide by setting herself on fire? Probably not a suicide? I don’t know. Seems fishy to me.
My mother started knitting an Afghan the day the hostages were taken in Iran. She finished when they were released. I was pretty young then, but I could tell that it was her way to relax and find a little joy every evening. Maybe I should have said crocheting instead of knitting. 🧶
How about favorite biopic? There have been lots of those lately. I’m partial to “Bohemian Rhapsody” but there are many other excellent ones.

This is a story relayed to me by my wife about her old man. He died before I met her, so I’ll take her at her word.
Anyway, he bought a house adjacent to a Mormon church. Not on purpose. He was a Jewish atheist. It appears that the Mormons wanted to buy his house
I have questions:
1: What does the HOA have to say about this?
2: How much does one of these bunkers cost?
3: Will that door really shield people from a nuclear blast? Radiation and everything?
4: Wouldn’t that have made an awesome swimming pool?

But are conservatives happier? They always seem to be pissed off about something. Bathrooms, Sharia Law, LGBTQ people, etc. I don’t know much longer I’ll be around, but I like to find joy wherever I can.

I know that at least in Texas, any kind of political messaging has to be a certain number of feet away from the polling place. If I remember correctly, I think it’s 200’. Something like that, anyway.

I missed that step when I did mine, but I suppose the gastroenterologist has seen all kinds of shit before. I do remember right before they put me under, I was on my side looking at this giant monitor. It was a very large picture of my ass. As I dozed off, I said, “Worst TV show ever…”
I haven’t gotten close enough to do a physical exam, but I suspect that Rocky might be a lady squirrel and perhaps is with children. That could explain the weight gain. If that’s the case, we will have plenty more visitors to our feeder. If Rocky is a lady I’ll call her Roxanne instead.

I like how Sunday is a quiet day that only gets interrupted by unsolicited text messages from political candidates that I would never support and that when you tell them to stop, they send another message telling you you said stop. Stop means stop. No means no.
I installed one of these on Friday. Our only visitor so far is a squirrel that I’ve named Rocky. Rocky seems to be gaining weight already. 😀
