We just released a zine for @openstatus.dev
It's our git history for the first 2 years.
I printed it on my home printer
It's pure diy punk energy π

Something big is coming for @openstatus.dev
Can you guess what it is?
And you don't have any developer email for your side proyects?
e.g. support@mysideproyect.com
I don't even know that gmail can do this. π¨
As a developer, how many email accounts do you have?
Thats' exactly the purpose of global shortcuts plugin I guess.
If you need a shortcut while the app is focused, just use the App Menu
(just another GPT wrapper)

π’ Introducing vike-server
JoΓ«l, Dani, and I are beyond thrilled to announce vike-server β a new Vike extension that integrates Vite with any server (Express.js, Hono, ...) and any deployment (VPS, Netlify, Vercel, Cloudflare, ...).

Hello World!
I need to write a blog post for our GoaT stack π
yeah, but the idea of having a compiler backend is for running the big load there. Right?
But it has the headache of async handling with rust. Maybe any kind of solution with Golang?
Any solutions for building native desktop apps with a embedded web runtime on the frontend?
(I don't want to use Electron)
Currently building a Tauri app. Because Rust w/ async sucks, but another Electron app hungry of RAM is too much
When you adopt an open source project as a dependency, check the values of the folks maintaining it. You're entering a long-term relationship with them, so you better ensure your values align.
I'm working on a dev tool (formizee.com) and wanna start devlogging, but everything feels so straightforward that I donβt know what to talk about. How do you even make a devlog interesting?
I wish @deno.land handle workspace like @pnpm.io
OpenStatus X GitHub Actions π
In my personal experience, I prefer Turso due to the DX.
Itβs an SQLite DB, so it currently has a single write database. In the future, there should be read replicas like Turso, but for now, there arenβt any. That said, it offers a very generous free tier for multi-tenant databases. With the Pro plan, you can have up to 50,000 databases.
Yeah, we fell into the same AWS trap. Maybe I should add a CLI tool to simplify the setup process.
Because, Resend is also a high cost AWS wrapper
The other day, I was thinking about creating an adapter package like Drizzle, but for email APIs. AWS SES is a pain to use, so something that lets you set your preferred email provider via an env variable while keeping the same methods would be great.
Do people who have Resend in their stack actually use its features, or is it just for the Email API?
You might want to check out OpenAuth from SST.
I was considering using better-auth, but after seeing this release from SST, I found it takes a completely different approach. It offers more granular control over authentication handling.

Unpopular opinion:
Developers are some of the most demanding customers to please with developer tools, and are one of the hardest business to make a profit in.
When we feel something is a ripoff... we'll build ourselves/migrate/adopt a new tool.
Often out of spite!
I want to like rust but this is ridiculous

The main goal here is to maximize community collaboration, and Discord is widely used for that purpose.
However, itβs interestingβI hadnβt considered an open-source alternative to Discord before.
