That's one of the points they make on the pod - the media including themselves (and the club) should have done more ahead of time to explain what was going to happen. However I have also heard first hand of people who booed knowing full well what was happening.
The Radio Leeds Don't Go To Bed Just Yet podcast yesterday gave a fantastic, nuanced and insightful look into the booing. If you haven't already, it's well worth a listen.

*Whispers* Whatβs happened to Tanaka? #lufc
Urgh not enjoying McManaman at all #lufc
It's just so disappointing.

At the end of December he posted on Instagram 'It's been a tough year' when you would think that - between promotion and getting to play in the PL - it should have been the best year of his life. Had my eye on him since then. Something not right?
Yeah what the heck has happened to him?
Liz Truss waiting patiently by her phone for Reform to ring, not realising it's actually a penguin biscuit
Not now, Sunderlandβs inevitable demise
Very Hunger Games we thought
If only I could.
Not even Macron quite beats this.
Feel like I can picture Cellino in a decent pair of these - thought that was going to be who you'd posted, was having to steel myself.
Featuring my first article for about 4 years! So don't miss it!
Dominic Calvert-Lewin is the first player to win the Premier League Player of the Month award while playing for a newly promoted club since Teemu Pukki in August 2019, for Daniel Farke's Norwich City. (Opta)
Haha that's just what I thought!
