It can use the “dailies” as guidance, but I’m saying that ai video generation (which is what this is) isn’t capable of “zero shot” generation with no training. Millions of hours of training. What is Ben’s tool trained on?

Exactly. And for a war nobody wants, with no clear goals and no plan.
However, until they fully explain, they COULD perhaps be 100% using their own data, or even maybe supplementing with ethical models like firefly, Bria, moon valley? Which would be a big step forward for ethical AI, in my opinion. (Ie. Fully licensed) but wish they had made that clearer, if so.
The Variety article says that they filmed on a real stage to create a dataset… but doesn’t say that it’s the only training data. I’ve also seen comfy ui screenshots going around, relating to this company, with various models on them that are def not ethically trained. 🤷

Wonderful cast. I loved the performances and the style and the music. But it definitely could have done with some more development time, in the writing department :)
All streamers are like that. There’s hardly any new content on any of them. They do big pushes for their 4 or 5 shows a year and 4 or 5 movies, that’s it
It just doesn’t handle complex data (lots of keyframes) well for me. Never has, unfortunately. It means I have to first clean up mocap in maya - which means I may as well animate in maya lol
I’m really hoping they can “fix” the curves editor so that it doesn’t freeze so much. There must be workarounds that Fortnite people use, but I so often get freezes when selecting large numbers of curves - it should at least warn you or something!
It’s sad but I feel like a full-on “boycott cbs” movement isn’t far away. Especially if all the reporting about 60 Minutes “only spouting the party line” from now on are true. I wish Ellison kept partisan stuff to cable / streaming - broadcast tv needs all the viewers it can get, to exist.
I really wish the Peacock app didn’t number repeats / classic episodes as part of the main season. It’s not good for viewer trust - makes us think it’s all a bit of a scam. :(
Exactly. I feel like there’s a lot of apathy. Not just about on air packaging but also when it comes to streamer UI that is broken and the companys know that and don’t change it. So many bugs and they don’t care. Peacock for example could get far more customer love if they fixed their awful app.
Urge your reps to ban Surveillance Pricing and boycott any business that uses it. If it’s allowed to take root, you will be robbed for the rest of your lives.
