Unfortunately she has not been able to say goodbye to her sweet pugs. They are with our father being spoiled (and bossed around by his three girls). He's had them since the end of June when she went in for her first round of chemo.
She connected you & I in the old place about Bluey. She constantly talked about Doom. Even a month ago she found a whale quilting pattern and said she wanted to make it for him. So please know she was always thinking about you and your family.
Thank you everyone for the outpouring of love and support. I will read her all of these messages. If you have a special story or message for her, I will happily relay it to her.
I will happily pass along wishes of comfort, love and stories. I appreciate all the overwhelming support for her during this time. I've always known how amazing she is, seeing everyone feel it as well is a great joy to me.
I will tell her tomorrow when I see her. I know she valued your friendship (and had me send cookies at the beginning of the pandemic!).
This is her sister, Siobhan. I will answer as many questions as I can. Feel free to message here.
It is with a heavy heart that I must tell people that Isobel/Tonda is losing her battle with cancer. She has been diagnosed as terminal & is now in comfort care @ her bffs house. GFM link below, DM if you want to send Isobel/Tonda direct funds (preferred)for her care. #fuckcancer gofund.me/73738360a
Also, obviously #youarebeingwatched
This I donβt understand. I live in a rural area. Many of us are gun owners. Most are sportsmen. Folks I know can fit their firearms in one safe. What you see below is a problem of paranoid suburban white guys who accumulate guns like Beanie Babies because it is fundamentally a hobby.
False.
One of the border patrol/ICE agents who terrorized Los Angelesβ including kidnapping American citizen Job Garcia, and drunkenly approaching a woman with a firearm in a restaurant bathroomβ- is dead.
He was facing seven felonies for his illegal actions: lataco.com/isaiah-antho...
This ruling is now final, and the case is closed.
President Donald Trump does not have the authority yo invalidate Chicago & Illinois laws that ban local law enforcement officials from helping federal immigration agents, U.S. District Court Judge Lindsay Jenkins ruled. @wttw.bsky.social
If youβve not seen Such Brave Girls, itβs one of the funniest things on TV - a deliciously dark, hilarious delight. There are 12 episodes, you can binge it all in 6 hours. I dare you! www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/epis...
Bell Canada photo booth at FanExpo Canada that has several booths set up for people to get free AI portraits done with a prompt generator.
PSA: If you're at FanExpo Canada this weekend, take a moment to stop by the Bell Canada A I Photo Booth to tell them how upsetting it is that they're undercutting the artists of Artist Alley by offering free A I photos (that's trained on the stolen art of creators) to attendees.
If Trump supporters actually found mortgage fraud to be disqualifying for high public office, they would not be Trump supporters.
next level is he sends a tweet "firing" someone & they just don't even dignify the purported cause: He has no authority, can go jump in a lake, thank you for your attention to this matter
Nor does Johnson's expressive conduct fall within that small class of "fighting words" that are "likely to provoke the average person to retaliation, and thereby cause a breach of the peace." Chaplinsky v. New Hampshire, 315 U. S. 568, 315 U. S. 574 (1942). No reasonable onlooker would have regarded Johnson's generalized expression of dissatisfaction with the policies of the Federal Government as a direct personal insult or an invitation to exchange fisticuffs. See id. at 315 U. S. 572-573; Cantwell v. Connecticut, 310 U. S. 296, 310 U. S. 309 (1940); FCC v. Pacifica Foundation, supra, at 438 U. S. 745 (opinion of STEVENS, J.).
Thus, we have not permitted the government to assume that every expression of a provocative idea will incite a riot, but have instead required careful consideration of the actual circumstances surrounding such expression, asking whether the expression "is directed to inciting or producing imminent lawless action and is likely to incite or produce such action." Brandenburg v. Ohio, 395 U. S. 444, 395 U. S. 447 (1969) (reviewing circumstances surrounding rally and speeches by Ku Klux Klan). To accept Texas' arguments that it need only demonstrate "the potential for a breach of the peace," Brief for Petitioner 37, and that every flag burning necessarily possesses that potential, would be to eviscerate our holding in Brandenburg. This we decline to do.
also and much more importantly, Texas v. Johnson literally already considered the exact two reasons which the Trump administration is saying that they can prosecute people for burning flags for and declined to allow the government to prosecute the burning of flags for those reasons
He's ALSO a perjurer. During his confirmation hearing he lied about Roe vs Wade being settled case law. So did Alito, Comey Barrett and Kavanaugh. The American Bar Association apparently doesn't care that 4/9 of the SCOTUS is compromised of liars. We need documentation of the regime's crimes.
Wanna reform SCOTUS? Hereβs how: actually hold people accountable for committing perjury.
These are bullshit charges. Trump's trying to take over the Fed because they won't bend to his bullshit.
Constituent: You talked about abuses in the medicare and medicaid system and I found interesting that the president pardoned someone that defrauded the medicaid system for $1.3 billion
Wonky quilts out.
This.
Our #3Dprinted 1/4 scale #humpback whale skeleton is finally complete and hung up in our teaching classroom! My #mammalogy students printed the individual bones, and the #MarineMammalogy class painted and articulated the #skeleton with Dr. Jim Dines! It's about 11 feet long and looks amazing!
It really is time to divide Texas into five states.
