When coins are moved to a new address is does not mean they’ve been sold.
The people you’re labelling as “bitcoin bros” are probably just bots or scammers. Some of us Bitcoin enthusiasts are pretty normal and why would we want to follow you anyway? I only scrolled past this post because it was captured in the #bitcoin feed. 🤷
I’ve been followed by 5 or 6 fake jack mallers’ and nearly 10 saylors. Blocked on sight!
What you’ve described there is a very different thing than panic selling.
I’d be happy to block the accounts who put 10 crypto hashtags in one post. I wish there was a list I could follow and have them blocked automatically. Like a shit list.

The product of bitcoin mining in a vacuum is two-fold: the verification of transactions, and the issuance of new bitcoin. From a climate perspective, bitcoin mining can be used for methane mitigation, and funding the shift to renewables. Those things sound productive to me.
Its growth is due to the fact that people are watching their cash savings decay over time because their government keeps printing more money and Bitcoin is a way out of that paradigm.
It can also help fund capital energy projects, balance grids, and more.
