Fair enough :) For what it's worth, I would say most climbers would love to see someone tick something they've worked on regardless of difficulty! Best of luck with the next project.

I ripped out the terrible and replaced it with some old cheesy music.

Another fun (and rather showy) #kilterboard problem called "Key Collision". This was at 45° and is apparently a 7c/V9. Took a few shots to learn the movement. 3 stars! #bouldering #climbing

A savage reminder that you can not, and should not, trust arbitrary people to belay you (or anyone you care about), regardless of their experience or credentials (pro climbing coach?!).
Belayers should never be complacent when they hold the life of another person in their hands.

Because @egyp7.bsky.social told me too. I had so many to choose from because I'm lucky to live in a great part of the world. I chose the East coast of Tasmania to share.
The best sleep I have is the 10 minutes after I've just turned off my alarm, right before I wake up in a panic.
I suck at slab, so climb overhung and "face" more often, resulting in me rubbing toes against the wall as much.
Lifehack: less slab, more overhangs 😀
Also, if possible, hit the outdoors. Real rock is a bit more forgiving than abrasive indoor walls.
For what it's worth, I started climbing at 38 years old and have never regretted it. A stack of the climbing community joined the sport to get over their fear of heights as well. You'll at least learn to deal with the fear.

I have to admit it feels soft for the grade even if you avoid matching. No matching certainly makes it spicier.
Great climb though, recommend giving it a go if you're a kilter nerd!
