The downtown seattle theater had like 50 tickets sold for last nights 5pm show. i almost went a third time just to hang out with a big crowd, but was too lazy. So, people are seeing it just not in the theaters or times I go to apparently.

The other Brandon Bird out there is a real piece of work.

Seeing looney tunes music performed live synced to a cartoon is a life goal I haven’t yet achieved but it has to totally rule.

Going to see it for the second time tonight, unfortunately in an empty theater for the second time. The only sold out show I’ve heard of in Seattle was when it was the monthly secret screening a couple weeks ago. Would love to see it in a full house though.

I use two different in-house game engines (one at work and one at home for personal / side projects) that are both windows only. Also (to anyone reading this) no you don’t have a photoshop replacement that works for me.

Steam Deck got me over the hump of realizing I could live in Linux one day, but I am a long way from daily driving it for almost any work related task. But hopefully someday.

It’s been soooo long. Remember when you could open an Explorer window and it would just show your files in the directory you’re looking at, instead of spin for 30 seconds doing ???? before slowly drawing a couple of them and then waiting some more for ????? reasons.

(But really you could just read the night watch series and the urban renewal/civic infrastructure series and have a good time, then go do all the witches books up through and including the wee free men YA series, at which point you’ll probably be 20 books in and can just finish up the rest.)

In order I mean. I think their reputation is similar to something like The X Files or whatever: the early books are a little clunkier and have some missteps, but that is more apparent in the rear view mirror when you’re in the better ones, and they still have a lot of what makes the series good.
