A red button in a Firefly class spaceship
These FIREFLY teases are setting me off. I know it’s not going to be a new series. It can’t be.
But …

Don’t take criticism from people from whom you wouldn’t take advice.
One thing that’s always been wild to me is there inability to recognize who the bad guy is. Jessup, Patrick Bateman, Jordan Belfort. These guys consistently idolize the obvious villain.
Russia can’t do it any more.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Im begging my fellow creatives, put your email on your social media.
telling myself that this clip was the last straw
Bernie Sanders’ billionaire tax would soak about 900 people to fund $3,000 checks for the middle class
Sounds fucking, great. Oh, you think it’s a bad thing… Fortune magazine.
I would gladly make my third (n+1) bike an electric. I’m surrounded by Scottish scenery with stunning roads through it, and I would utterly love a quiet bike with bar-end mirrors to put a picture frame round the natural beauty in front of me. Being closer to nature is a dream worth living.
It’s shite. I’ve got bikes to ride.
A weather report for the next week showing that it’s going to be shitty.
I hear the weather is finally picking up and I should be able to get out on my motorbike to clear my head … except for viewers in Scotland.
QUICK! RESTART THE PRESSES! I MADE A TERRIBLE MISTAKE
ZOMG! Stop the presses!
It’s not even that she’s released new books; the news is she’s planning on releasing two new books. The news hasn’t even happened yet.
Especially a 1997 Ducati, yeah. I don’t know, but I manage. I don’t move about on it as much as I do my 765RS, and I’m not riding it as hard either. I don’t do 250 mile days on it, like I can on my other bike, either.
I guess I’m just lucky as a 59-year old that I’m not that fucked yet.
Watching @neevesy33.bsky.social’s review of the Honda WN7 electric motorbike, it’s going to take a lot to convince UK buyers to get one. It’d take something exceedingly cataclysmic and unlikely like WWIII breaking out in the Middle East, making oil prohibitively expensive.
Oh.

This is fantastic
Well, they are fuckers like that.
The US Supreme Court has declined to review copyright around AI. This means AI slop cannot be copyrighted.
I can’t wait for Spotify, may they rot in hell, to deny payments to all the clankers, may they rot in hell, uploading slop tunes.
There ain’t no royalties on public domain works, fuckers!
It’s ok, you have that to look forward to in old age.
Fuck yeah. Santa!
Bennetts checked all the underwriters. My 748 costs under £90 a year on its own.
I’m fine with what I’m being charged. I know my bikes are not “sensible” bikes and the only reason my 748 is cheap to insure is it’s an old classic.
Millilitre? Milliput
I’ve not tried yet. My millilitre was too old. 😆
It’s the law.
1997 Ducati 748, red
2020 Triumph 765RS, black
It’s cheaper to insure these two bikes separately than on a multi-bike policy.
Plus, being an old git in Scotland means it’s about £250 for both.
Never kill joy. Whimsy fucking matters, especially when the world is as shit as it is.
Being an adult means you can put stickers on your computer, you can paint your nails silly colours, you can wear Mr. Blobby socks, whatever.
Don’t ever put anyone down for doing something fun or silly.
“Oakeshott did not move to Dubai because she was persecuted in the United Kingdom, nor did she immigrate to flee censorship or imprisonment.
She moved, in her own words, for tax reasons, specifically VAT on private schooling - something that makes her, say it with me, an economic migrant.”
