Congratulations to Rebeca San Martin @rsm7.bsky.social and Soledad Sosa @soledadsosalab.bsky.social for receiving the 2025 CDI Pilot Grant entitled "Elucidating the chromatin architectures between cancer dormancy and recurrence", which focuses on converging mechanisms in prostate cancer & HNSCC.

The genomic landscape of relapsed infant and childhood KMT2A-rearranged acute leukemia - Nature Communications Infant KMT2A-rearranged acute lymphoblastic leukemia is associated with poor overall survival rates. Here, the authors use WGS and WES of 36 relapsed KMT2A-rearranged ALL and AML patients and find alterations in drug response genes in ALL, which may correspond with relapse time. Longitudinal analyses of >250 samples could track residual leukemia cells, clonal drug responses, and the upcoming relapse.
