🏆 San Francisco winner: David Baker Architects – Steplight
Six floors of housing on a 25×110 mid-block lot, common across SF neighborhoods. Proof that small lots can still deliver high-quality homes.
🏆 Austin winner: Cadavre Exquis
21 homes at 60% lot coverage, balancing livability and generous open space while achieving 150 homes per acre. A strong example of family-friendly density.
