I grew up under Section 28.
A state-sponsored silence that dictated what knowledge about my identity could be withheld from me.

Section 28 wasn’t repealed until 2003. Less than 20 years later, we’re going backwards
Meta started banning queer content from platforms...
I bounce around to the point of distraction and wish I had a happier answer. Some folk seem to like Zen as an Arc replacement, but I've resigned myself to Firefox for as long as it hangs on in there. Browser + Kagi + EFF's Privacy Badger is the real non-negotiable for me

Late reply but I initially rebounded into Instapaper, then decided I was missing an opportunity to simplify things more and remove one more extension, so now just using my browser's reading list and, for stuff I want to keep, sharing it into Notes .app where everything else lives for me
