As I get older I'm coming to increasingly radical views like "you have to do things to get good at them" and "you have to think about problems to solve them"
What a great stumbleupon experience. I got asianart.com
big tech should invent stuff we actually want like double jump and wave dashing
After all these years, it's hard to believe it's gone.
I promise you it's actually okay and good to say " I made choices I would not make again because now I understand things differently."
It's a sign of continued political education and a growing commitment and consciousness.

Make money ethically, can't afford ethical products.

Every time I see someone ask if AI is conscious a little bit of my soul decays
If you're constantly asking someone for advice
And they see you're not actually taking it
Guess who's going to stop giving you advice
30 minutes of yoga fixes everything
Stop thinking about servers, start thinking about community
When your friend sends you his 10th vibe coded app this week and asks what you think
I think we need to stop using the blanket term AI and use LLMs - there's no "intelligence" that would supplant the need for keeping a capable human in the loop and driver's seat.
Feature-rich SaaS that solve a core problem with 10 other supporting feature propositions can't be one-shotted.
They still take months and months of hard work, and most vibe coders don't have the discipline or focus to keep building them, let alone sell them.
the computer is NOT conscious. until you put googly eyes on it
practing a new form of mindfulness i call "fun computer" where i spend time at my desk but im not looking at things that make me sad or mad
That's it exactly π―
Absolutely agree. If it wasn't for @spacecowboy17.bsky.social 's For You feed I don't think I'd be on here as much.
If you're going to practice ANYTHING these days it's UI design, value positioning and marketing

Always new words to mute and news sites to block.
"If I could give every anxious engineer one piece of advice, it would be this: stop optimizing for what AI can already do, and start investing in what it canβt."
Note to self: check domain availability before announcing cool name for thing youβre doing
