I travelled through Tupelo, Mississippi and came across a hillside made up of fossil oyster shells. These come from the Late Cretaceous (Campanian) Demopolis Formation. This is what was left from an ancient ocean ~76 million years ago. Pycnodonte mutabilis are the most common ones found. 🌊

One of my favorite little known sauropodomorph (long neck dinosaurs) is Nigersaurus, meaning "Niger's lizard" after the country of its discovery.

At 30 feet, this little guy was known for its unusually shaped mouth and having an estimated of over 500 teeth.

This is a beautiful Hexagonaria (colonial horn coral) from the Middle Devonian Cedar Valley Formation from Coralville, Iowa. There is a location in Iowa City, Iowa known as the Devonian Fossil Gorge where you can see an intact coral 390 million year old coral reef like this one.

Amazing demo with so much attention to detail and unique ways to play. One of the most innovative 3D platformers. Imagine what they could come up if they expanded on this...

I just tried the Darwin's Paradox demo and loved every minute. Great puzzle platformer.

Also interesting detail on having the latest trailer debut on Charles Darwin's birthday.
