Pretty sure I’ll get blocked and flak for bursting the bubble but I just can’t see how Poketopia turns into PMD.

It’s not, there’s too many differences for it to be a PMD prequel. Poketopia takes place in the mainline game world, not the PMD world. The logic that plate tectonics moved the regions to what they are in PMD don’t make logical sense. Plus the lack of technology in the PMD world. (Centers and Dexs)
