I mean, that's what happened with a certain mutual tiger. I was there in person when a lion who got theirs from the same maker was willing to put in a good word for the tiger, and 6 years later he's seen nothing come from it. This was a huge US maker too, asking five figures. It's saddening.

I had a similar experience with my mortgage broker when buying my den. Said I couldn't get a mortgage without a bigger deposit (thus more fees for them), I applied to the same provider with the same figures and got it no issues... Fuck 'em.
