Also, when transferring in a station I don't necessarily know too well, how long would that take? Best case scenario it's across the platform, worst case I need to walk all around the station - sometimes it might even be a different station altogether.
I think it's the uncertainty that the first train won't arrive on time, and how that affects the next train. So if train A arrives at 10:00 and train B leaves at 10:05 but train A is a few minutes late, how much will I have to wait? Do I need to take an earlier A train to account for it?

An Oxalaia quilombensis (very close Spinosaurus relative from Brazil) crosses a tidal flat under a dark, cloudy sky. The dinosaur has its tail resting or dragging across the muddy ground, powerful arms, long neck and head and a rectangular-shaped sail on its back giving it a kaiju-like appearance. To its right there's a discarded turtle shell, and to its right, a pile of driftwood. Soft light is hitting its sail and part of its neck making them look brighter and more vivid than the somber looking environment.
