It’s hard to let go of the things you love but sometimes you have to do it because it’s the best thing for them.

Imma miss you Bo 💚

Because of his feather issue he can’t fly properly at the moment. But we taught him to free fly and he took to the skies. It was anxiety inducing seeing him go so far but also exhilarating to see him so free and he absolutely loved it.

I know that we can’t give him the care that he needs with our ever increasingly busier schedules, that doesn’t make the decision any easier though.

He’s going with a lovely exotic vet nurse who he’s taken a liking to (it’s where he goes on holiday). So I’m really hoping he thrives there.

For some reason or another as is with the things life throws at you, he has had an ongoing issue with his skin/feathers that we just can’t figure out.

We’ve spent thousands at the vet and they’re just as confused.

He’s also had a bunch of health issues over the last year.

We’ve treated him like a king since we got him at just 11 weeks old. The number of toys, perches, and other stuff he’s had over the last nearly 4 years is crazy.

Feeling pretty down this morning, this year has been defeating me so far for various reasons.

One of the big things looming tomorrow is that I have to say goodbye to this little munchkin as he’s being rehomed.

We’re moving, which is one of the bigger reasons, but…

Did somebody ask for cuddles? :3
