Visited the shed again today and found the problem. The link between the R1 that handles audio to the radio had a "air gap" problem. Resolved air gap problem by plugging it back in tightly. Theory was when I popped it back in the rack before the cable had worked it's way lose.
Been having some fun with two of my All Star Link nodes. Plugged it all back in, popped it back in the rack and job done. So I thought. Could not get audio out on the radio or anything. Nearly ordered the bits to replace the controller and the interface.
