It is so horrifically quiet in our house.

Our indian ringneck parrot Squiggy, who was 25 years old passed away last night, he grew up with Itchy....We were shocked but think it could have been a brain tumor due to some things he was doing before hand...He was our family and now he's gone, we're both devastated...

I would give anything in the world for this to be a bad dream. For this to not be happening.

I love you all but please don't message me right now. I know you all want to help but ..... I just want to be alone with my big feelings. Thank you.

I wish I could wake up.

He was with me throughout middle school and high school and college. He went with me wherever I moved. He was there for me when my blood family stopped loving me.

I bought Jolyne and Hermes just for him. I think they helped him survive these last 8 years.

I had him all 25 of his years. I met him when he was just a few weeks old, ugly and covered in pinfeathers, in an incubator with 3 baby cockatiels. He thought he was a cockatiel, all his life, and he loved them.

Heartbroken and devastated. It hurts so much.

I wish I had talked about him more. I wish I drew him more. I wish I took him on adventures, even though he was afraid of outside.

Antibiotics didn't fix it.

We were planning to take him back to the vet soon.

Everybody who met him loved him.

Vets loved him and they were impressed by how vibrant and energetic he was for his age.

For the last few months he was dealing with something that made his right eye leak and made him lose feathers on his face

I assumed you would always be with me.

I'll miss you giving me migraines
