I apparently got recommended these at the same time because I started THE LOOP the other day and was confused why it didn’t seem like a twisty sci-fi thriller. Now that I’ve recalibrated my expectation I’m very much enjoying it!

Their latest, Love Is Not Enough, is such a tight, lean record. It's heavy, chaotic, while also maintaining enough melody to keep me engaged. The riffs are sick, the cadences are catchy. I'm on my fourth listen today and am excited to dig more into the album's lyrical content.

Really enjoying the new Converge today. I was never a Converge super-fan, as when they were gaining steam, I was just a kid listening to oldies' radio. My entry point was All We Love We Leave Behind, which came out when I was working at a local record store. Of course, I loved it.

That's the sci-fi noir—Detective Charlie. Hoping to get that one out on subs this year.
