When my sleep-deprived brain said "defeated", what it meant was "completed"
I have finally played and defeated Shadow of the Colossus, the PS4 version specifically.
What stood out to me most was how empty the open world was compared to modern games. As a result, it feels so much larger and you're really given the chance to take in the awe-inspiring view!
Wait. Is "Chess is More" a Baba Is You reference?
My condolences. However, I am now intrigued.
I always said r/AnarchyChess needed a game adaptation
Any time the player has to make a choice, you need to communicate that through UI... I hadn't thought about it until now but I can't think of any part worse than pawn promotion.
Aside from maybe the opposing AI as a whole. But... there's definitely some library out there for that already.

It would be interesting if instead of relinquishing control, it's just a shift in gameplay and objectives. I'd love to see an MMO like that that's just an everlasting conflict between zombies and humans
