The point is that a public tech rollout needs to be less annoying than a free U2 album and LLMs have failed to clear that bar

State Farm should give me a discount for erasing nearly two decades of goodwill towards Danny McBride and Keegan Michael Key with one 30 second ad.

Seems like a perfect day for OUT OF CURIOSITY AND HUNGER, a short creature feature novel I would describe as The Very Hungry Caterpillar x National Geographic, but make it horror. #HorrorWritersChat

Thank you, @erynmccee.bsky.social, amazing questions!!!

My latest is my queer Appalachian cosmic horror novel CHILDREN OF SOLITUDE about a mean queen, his dead mother's haunted house, and the OF star next door.

Polly stirred in her cage.

"Pretty bird...ackkkkkkk...pretty bird..."

The oddest gerbil Herman had ever owned. At 65, she'd been with him since fourth grade. She would likely be here when he was gone.

It's the thing that's stuck with me the most from that movie.

I think it depends on the type of horror. If I want to suggest something alien, I'll go with insects or something under the sea. For something bloodier and more primal, I'm sorry, but it's man's best friend.

Hi everyone. Tom Coombe here, author of weird/cosmic/pre-apocalyptic horror. My stories tend to have an urban/suburban setting, but when I do touch on the natural world, I'm focusing mostly on water, I guess. Maybe cold/wintry air.

You can tell these folks are beyond shame because they can use the term "warfighter" without wincing. If you were working at Hasbro in the 80s and offered that name for one of the Transformers you'd be cleaning out your desk.

The 2 most memorable:

Dad's side -Tom, ex-seminarian who wrote poetry & spoke multiple languages, Left school to support his mom after his dad died.

Mom's side - Frank, AKA, "Colonel" because of the attitude he adopted in the army. Burned down half a block by falling asleep while smoking.

That's not a good number, but it's important to remember that wars only grow more popular the longer they go on.

Cool. I love a movie that feels like the filmmakers are elbowing me and going β€œHuh? Huh?” the whole time.
