Nintendo really was like "hey, we remember the New 3DS and the Wii U and how well those ... uh, did", and did the same thing to the Switch
The thought of hearing a vintage Mac chime and thinking "oh the power is back on" is really funny to me and I'm not really quite sure why
Expecting each game to have a "official doskel seal of approval" sticker on it now
Sounds like something I'd expect to see Ordinary Sausage at
Banger post oomfie
I wonder if I can do the wireless AA thing, mine has wired support from the factory but I dunno if trying to add wireless would play well
Review left on the O'Reilly Auto Parts website, stating the following: Sometimes, when I get nervous, I eat green plastic. This sufficed that need. Q: What vehicle did you make this purchase for? A: 2017 Mazda 6 Grand Touring Yes, I recommend this product.
Average Mazda owner
Picture of an Anya Forger plush sitting on top of a 2023 Mazda MX-5 Miata. Next to her is a spray bottle of Griot's Garage spray-on detailing wax and a microfiber cloth.
I tasked her with detailing the Miata but she isn't doing a very good job at it

People are out here running fediverse instances on their Mazda head units, meanwhile mine can't even handle it's stock software without falling flat on it's face
If you see this, quote with flowers from your gallery

I just had a fun idea, one of these days when I bring the Miata to a car show, now that I have root access to the CMU I should have it host a web server that people can go to and leave comments during the show, maybe figure out a way to have the head unit display the most recent comments

No. NO. I NEED to leave the Mazda CMU alone. I need to resist the urge to do anything wild with it like what @doskelisa.ninja is doing
Y'all should go follow this entire thread, @doskelisa.ninja is running frickin GoToSocial on a Mazda CMU head unit and it's frickin cursed and brilliant.
today is the day
i will run gotosocial on my car
and make it federate
Ahh, Mac OS 8.1 "later in the day" edition
Totally second the VM idea! If one distro doesn't work for what you need, try another one
Also would just like to add the reason I ultimately stuck with Arch is because I use VMware Workstation a lot and just being able to install it from the AUR and basically have it work is an absolute godsend
My personal setup is Arch with KDE Plasma but I know Arch isn't practical for everyone, so Fedora KDE would probably be what I'd recommend since I've never had good experiences with Ubuntu-based distros in the past.
How I feel today
Discover is quite good at that! I used to have a considerably bigger following over on *the other site* but dropped it as soon as the ship began sinking years ago. Most of my followers are on Mastodon now lol
Picture of the passenger air bag off warning light in an Infiniti QX50. Normally this light is off unless it detects a small child (or something close in weight) in the front passenger seat.
That moment when your to-go order of curry is heavy enough in the passenger seat for your car to detect it as a small child and warn you that the airbag is off:
They did it over on Mastodon too, now I'm properly upset
I'm 99% sure that it was just a stolen post, maybe we just happened to be thinking on the same brainwave for them to post basically the exact same thing 4 minutes after I posted mine but I kinda doubt that. Maybe I'm wrong idk, that makes me feel awful though and I hope that wasn't what happened.
Y'know I try to be somewhat original with my posts, someone coming along and basically copying my post instead of reposting or quote posting it... not cool man. :<
Picture of an Acer Aspire R7. While looking mostly like a normal laptop, rather unusually the touchpad sits above the keyboard instead of below.
Once again thinking about weird Windows 8-era tech, but this time thinking about the Acer Aspire R7. This is not a photoshop. This thing exists.
I was waaaaaay too young to appreciate the PS2 properly but my older brother ended up getting one new for the holidays in 2000. It was having disc reading issues so he gave it to me a while back and I fixed it up with a donor system. Still have it! Date code/serial confirms it's from December 2000.
