I got this email, but I didn't read it closely because I assumed, wrongly, that all the relevant information would be posted on the website.

I had intended to run as an affiliate via @debian.bsky.social , but since there's only 1 affiliate seat open for election, I'm instead supporting ebb.org/bkuhn 's affiliate candidacy and had intended instead to run as an Individual member.
It's mildly absurd for an organisation whose contact address is in California to elect to use UTC, at least without clearly documenting that ahead of time.

My application was rejected for being submitted at around 04:00 UTC, which is a perfectly reasonable time in California (where I also live).
