OK so Dan lost a file - er, *iterated on this enemy and made him better! When attacked he deploys his human shield and can't be hurt from the front. And now his brain is exposed at the back so you have a reason to roll behind him to attack. Cool new gameplay options! #indiegamedev #indiegames

Art update! Here is Timbsbly, a new enemy type. He will replace the boring old floating heads in the game, which was the first enemy Dan ever made. It is a modular enemy type, so he can take various forms with different looks (shown, along with the gore layers), behaviours and attacks. Cute/weird!
New year, new enemy! Meet the Spider Birther: it spawns little spiders every time you damage it. This animation test shows the procedural animation that Dan is using for spider enemies. Creepy! #indiegames #indiegamedev #horrorgames
New build, free on Steam Playtest! New feature? SWAPPABLE WEAPONS, baby! Instead of having just items, Ember can now carry up to two weapons with unique projectile types, that then synergises with items and upgrades to make the crazy kinds of build the game is getting known for. #indiegames
