It’s pretty wild to me that when I was a kid, most of the lightbulbs in my house were drawing 60W a piece and today I’m running a home server that’s replaces Google Drive, Netflix, Spotify, Audible, Kindle—for multiple users—on around half of that.

Mona for Mastodon has an option to have all posts (in pre-selected downloaded languages) automatically translate. I much prefer that approach as it allows for less friction to enjoy posts.

While I haven’t personal had any issues with Jellyfin in the year or so I’ve used it, I will say that AudioBookShelf has been way better for Audiobooks.
I was using Jellyfin at first but it was a lot less robust and AudioBookShelf has been flawless.
I still use Jellyfin for all other media.

So Leaflet has been indexing the post since yesterday. But I’ve tried several tweaks and nothing has made it show up in @pckt.blog
I made those tweaks and now, funny enough, it's showing up on my @leaflet.pub admin as a blog with the post as published. I dont see it in the discover feeds of either pckt or leaflet though. So, assuming its configured correctly now, whats a normal delay before I should check for it to appear?

Honestly this is fine. I think Anthropic is our best hope for well-aligned AI models but like. Monopolies are bad and we need it to be *easier* to make good models, not harder. In conclusion, Anthropic should open source Claude

I think China is gonna deliver the double whammy of AI models that don’t need as much RAM, and cheap RAM that competes neck and neck with the big players (look up CXMT). As a result I think by end of year RAM prices will be through the floor.
