Anyone intimidated by big books/out of practice with reading! novellas and short story, poetry or essay collections can be super helpful for getting into it, figuring out your style preferences etc. (as well as just being interesting in their own right ofc)
Yes! If you can get both the physical and audiobook (check your local library/YouTube if it's a classic so it doesn't get too costly) reading along could be worth a try. But regardless audiobooks alone 100% count.

Exactly and with student grade supplies getting more available, at least where I am, there's definite potential for the beginner and hobbyist. I have such fond memories of my $2 art diaries and they're still so good for pencil work
Especially with how expensive the hardware AND software are getting for digital art (forever subscription services I'm looking at you) traditional art is feeling more and more appealing

I can imagine yeah! And like, knowing the niche you want to and enjoy writing for I think is often a more sustainable approach creatively than chasing trends you maybe don't care for.

The market is just getting more and more saturated, books are available more widely and for longer. Also always worth considering that critical and industry standards are a bit different than the average reader, who needs a compelling story not a perfect one.
