I definitely need to run more local models now otherwise it would be not a wise investment

YOU CAN ALWAYS CREATE ANOTHER CHAT WINDOW!!!
You can dream, right?
Hey, or have this beautiful Matrjoschka of VMs in which you can do jackshit.
It is 8mb, 8GB is the minimum standard today for a PC, so not far off :D
But same with those advertisements from the 90s with 100mb disks for 1000$ or something
So like those No Code tools today?
The main point because they are not used en masse is the company rules and safeguards so no shadow is created?
Somebody has to maintain and review it. If IT does not want to do it for this AI slop, then it does not go to prod (in an ideal world)
I guess this happens everyday, don't you get paid for pulling something out of your behind?
Subscribe to my blog post RSS Feed as well!

In an ideal world, it is not used, so it doesnt matter? Just a few more bytes right?
Is this the classical "make or buy" and now "let AI make and maintain it or buy"?
Like people saying they can just generate a SAP competitor oblivious to the actual challenges creating a ERP/SaaS product?
Are we the POs now writing good specifications for our LLMs?
Good bad idea, thought about it doing it but wasn't sure
Is there a need for a comprehensive overview of SAP-related MCP servers and tools? I havenβt seen one yet.
Check it out here:

Whatβs missing, and what else could be added?
For now just a simple README (and a little GitHub Workflow π€)
Where are you GitHub? Where is this filter?
SAP claimed ABAP-1 is only for explaining not generating ABAP code. Ok, let's test it.
Result: It's losing in those benchmarks too against almost all models I tested.
Just don't bother using ABAP-1, use other frontier models with a strong context

i added one, is this helpful?

Maybe it's a good thing and they realized it's not worth the effort to update and release new ABAP LLM models.
I heard from SAP Employees that the model itself is relativly old, so poor performance is expected.
I hope they donΒ΄t invest here, it just does not make sense.
It is not in their area of expertise and a good model + good Context (like a ABAP MCP Server) beats a ABAP LLM Model from SAP every day.
That's my approach too, using my SAP Docs MCP Server helps a lot for niche cases or just best practices on how to write something.
Experience with SAP related development is getting better and better with every new model.
Yeah, ABAP-1 is not better in explaining ABAP Code either, what is it for then?
All good, that's what I do a lot too, you can get lost there.
What are you doing there anyway? Procrastinating?
look at line 7
So definitely will be there π
Now hopefully my talks will be accepted

bluesky-map.theo.io has put me in the SAP Developers Ecosystem
Funny thing is - despite having many friends in that ecosystem (gravity well) - I haven't worked in it for about 7 years.
I love my open source languages web dev space now.
