I completely forgot to name them. The two with me are Michael Hall in the middle, and Avin Zarlez on the right

Excited to be in Berlin for WeAreDevelopers. The other Arm Evangelists and I are giving a series of workshops tomorrow.
Today, I just sorted by the flare to only see AI posts, and just blocked every user who posted any generated content. There are still posts that weren't flared properly, and I block those people when they pop up, but it's easier to find wallpaper from actual artists now. 2/2
Occasionally I like to change out the background on my computer by browsing for something good on one of the many wallpaper subreddits. That experience has been painful these last couple of years with the amount of AI slop out there. 1/2
Whelp, new objective unlocked
Clever. Took me a second
It's definitely become something that's only worth subscribing to for a month or two a year
I only had one New Yearβs Resolution, and that is to play a new indie game each month. Itβs late in January, but Iβm starting with Undertale. Not exactly timely, but itβs the first thing that comes to mind when I think βindie gameβ, and I hear good things
The scones always sounded delicious even though child me had no idea what a scone was
Congrats! I submitted four, but none made it through. I heard that they were swamped with submissions this year
I wish. I saw from someone elseβs picture on Reddit that some airport is selling it. I have to wait for my order to get here December 6th
Fucking awesome... Just found out at least one retailer has been selling Wind and Truth before the release date. Going into isolation from social media until I get and finish my copy
An error message from Modern Warfare II stating that Windows 11 isn't supported, and that I need to upgrade to Windows 10
Just trying to play a game with some friends. This is definitely the kind of quality I expect from Activision
A 3D print of a skull
Three days later after a second attempt and I have a successful, squishy TPU print. Some of the inner supports failed a third of the way through, but I decided to keep going just to see how it would turn out and Iβm glad I did
A failed 3D print
The print made it a third of the way before the center organic supports began failing. I'm trying again with a larger minimum support diameter, and a reduced maximum angle
A model of a skull in PrusaSlicer, prepped to be printed
I successfully printed a Benchy using TPU for the first time, so of course the next step is a skull that will take three days and use half a spool
reskeet with the first album you bought with your own money
A cat using bubble wrap as a blanket
Despite the fact that she is a fluffy cat and there is a heatwave, Jasnah decided to pull the bubble wrap out of a cardboard box and use it as a bed and blanket
People who don't drink coffee or tea, how do you live? I'm always tired as fuck and you're out here being productive. WTF?
Writing quick Steam reviews for games you like is the single best thing you can do to help their visibility. Taking 10 minutes to go through your library and bang out a handful of reviews for games with <1000 total reviews can really move the needle.
It's so refreshing to return to using LINQ after using a language other than C# for a while
I still think everyone and everything should go back to having their own pages. The internet was more fun being composed of smaller, tight-knit communities
An old Geocities website βJesseβs Skiing pageβ in a Netscape browser
If Bluesky fails, thereβs no way Iβm going back to Twitter or signing up for Threads or any of the others. Iβll just go back to Geocitiesβ¦

Just finished our game for the GMTK jam. I did the programming, and @usagiyokai.bsky.social did the artwork. Finally get to relax.

Paying for a seed box to keep up a good ratio was way better than paying for a streaming service that randomly decides certain songs donβt belong in your library anymore
Currently building a game for the GMTK Jam and I'm noticing my normal internal monologue cycle while programming of "I'm a genius" and "I'm the dumbest human to have ever lived" has been greatly accelerated
Nothing like deciding on some last minute changes to a demo the week before an event to really get the stress levels going
New "World's tuffest soft dog toy"
Dog chewing on the tough dog toy
The tough dog toy was no match, and has been shredded up
Watching my sister's dog, who is notorious for destroying toys, and thinking I could find something she couldn't tear apart. Oh, what a fool am I
Iβve never participated in a game jam before, so Iβm looking forward to making something for the GMTK Game Jam this Friday. Even if what I make is terrible, it should be fun
