discord messages from user adachi rei, reading: "we have the strangest recurring dream. i was in it this time. we will be doing something. anything at all. i have no idea what i was doing this time around, but the lingering vague sense is that it was rather mundane as dreams go. and then, for some reason, we will suddenly need to interact with the volume control in windows 98. and every time, we open it, and we start looking at the audio properties or something. but for some reason, there is always a "hype" slider and an "aura" slider, with windows helpfully explaining that "hype" sets the volume increase for hype moments, and "aura" determines the threshold for when something that's happening is considered to be a hype moment. this would be strange once but i think this is the third or fourth time. why this??"

the advanced audio properties dialog from windows 98. a new "Hype Moments and Aura" tab has been added. it explains that "Windows uses these settings to determine when a moment is hype and take appropriate action". there is a "Hype and Aura" subsection, with a Hype slider and an Aura slider, and the further explanation, "Hype determines how much Windows will increase the volume during a hype moment. Leaving this value at the maximum is recommended. Aura affects the threshold for what is considered a hype moment. Higher values mean that more mundane events will be hype."

The way Youtube's comment system has been altered over the years makes it so replies to old comments have no context and it's possible the old comment was just deleted so there's this 17 year old comment from me on a YTP I made that just says Gradius IV. sona doodle but they can see a lil better now <3

a big bee girl, approximately a metre tall and quite wide. she is mostly yellow ans has a darker yellow stripe on each of her limbs, she has dark yellow floofy hair and long thin antennae. her eyes are pink but u can only see one here, its similar to junebugs eyes but the eyelash is contected to it and pointy. she has a big bee abdomen with 2 large black stripes and a very big and pointy stinger. i do not have a name for her yet.
