I can relate so much. It also takes more faffing about with dynamics and legatos. Sure I can do those things later, but that sound inspires my writing. It does hold me back sometimes, because there is this additional layer of technicality for creating something that's supposed to be more organic.

To be fair, it's been only around 1½ years since I switched to Reaper, but I still cannot fathom how much I love it and how I still keep learning about INSANELY USEFUL features and scripts on a very regular basis.. 😩🤌

It's a crazy genre. My algorithm recommended me an absolute legend of a german plumber, who was so freaking hilarious and so fed up by people. With the most dry ass humor ever. Truly artful
Thx! Oh well, I'd say spacing transients out, sort of orchestarting them in a way where all the layers don't hit at the exact same time. And lovely distortion and saturation, my go to right now are Decapitator and Ohmicide—But it's crucial to not overdo, otherwise the transients will flatten again

Yeah, I mean a button is the next best thing--It works.
I'm just thinking that using the file sorting of a DAW Browser and then dragging it over would feel smoother.
But that's honestly a small detail, the Plugin is insane and for free. That's crazy!🙏
Is it possible to drag and drop samples into it? I find the browse button to be less pleasant to work with. Just curious tho!
