The quality of the writings and the critiques were not very high IMO. Though it’s very subjective. I kinda want to write something and go to the next one and get it critiqued. I don’t have high hopes though.
Since they have no online presence but the library’s events page I had no idea. Seven people had come ranging from late 20s to 60s. They were not super inclusive of me but I did get to read what they brought. It was an experience.
Went to a writing club, at a library few suburbs over, yesterday. They meet once a month. Surprisingly they don’t write at the club. They bring printed copies of what they’ve already written, about 1000-1500 words, read it and critique it.
