god this series hits different and I'm so glad I watched it

this ending will stick with me for sure Diane's speech about how sometimes you meet people that help you become the person you are and being grateful while acknowledging they might not be around forever went UNBELIEVABLY hard for my psyche, because of the shit that's happened in my life.

I enjoy that we probably just see a glimpse beginning to end of what is probably Bojack's deepest pit, and now it's time to move on, and let him recover.

there's no great big finale here, it's just more bojack, but he's getting back up and trying just a little harder this time.

I don't think this feels rushed at all, I think it's all woven together pretty well, multiple plot lines layered over each other.

you could probably make more but why?

not every story like his will end happily, and I like that they didn't just give him one.

is it depressing? yeah
but I always expected that out of the ending, I mean the inciting incident of the last two eps was right there in the intro since episode 1 we knew where this was ending.

I finished the series and yeah, I think this show really had a lot to say.

I think the quote "This is the way the world ends, not with a bang but a whimper." is a very valid way to describe the ending.

Bojack got better but relapses and that's a very real thing that happens

Diane's Arc felt like the opposite tho which also scares me.

Man S3 certainly had it's highs but with and overall shift in tone it just felt more like 80's action comedy lol.

this feels like a return to form, there are parts that feel like action, other parts horror, and other parts somethin else entirely.

Really great eps here.

Man ngl, sitting at s4 of my stranger things rewatch and Jonathan Byers feels like such a shell of the character that he was in S1 lol

S1 Jonathan was clueless but smart, once he picked up on things with nancy's help he locked in.

S2 jonathan felt like an extension of this.

S3 he was a doormat

this is definitely the tone shifter season of this whole series, and it's super fucking obvious.

kind of like they didn't know where to go after s1 because it was supposed to be an anthology series but atleast had ideas for following s1 and this was there fuck around season.

this was a good follow up to season 1 for a few reasons, I mainly liked the direction they took with certain characters even if the overall mystery and threat felt a little more tame compared to s1 because you go into it knowing what happened in s1 lol.
