I think the biggest damage to the art community was the obsolescence of gallery sites (y!, deviantart, etc) and the rise of scroll-by social media, like twitter and even tumblr. Art is not ''content'', you shouldnt need to post art every day (or every month!) to be relevant. This mindset sucks.

Omg same! It really does throw everything off for at least a week, and I'm in the same camp where as I don't care which they pick, just stop switching it (hilariously where I live, they have a law on the books that'll instantly go into effect if the Fed Gov does away with the DST change)

In my case my body does way better on non-DST time (my internal clock syncs better with it), but I 1000% agree and wish they would get rid of the time change

100% it is yet another type of scam trying to get access to people's funds

JUST as an FYI, there is a new confirmed #Paypal 'penny' scam going around where someone trying to seem legit will send you a very small payment in the form of several cents in order to get you to accept the funds or call a number they are providing.

Confirmed it to be true with Paypal CS
